Flaunt it Friday 168!

Hi there! <br /><br />Back to school for my boy this week and we are pooped!  Not used to this getting up early stuff.  Just trying to get back into the swing of things this week, giving up summer is hard to do.  But something really cool happened this year for my boy at school and it made us both a little more excited to go back.  He got one of my favorite grade school teachers!  Isn't that fun?!  (<i>No, she is not 100 years old because I'm not that old silly)</i>  He is at a different grade school than I attended but in the same school district.  But, it's a big district with lots of teachers and elementary schools, what are the chances?!  It has been so fun to catch up with her after all these year, she is a sweet woman and a wonderful teacher and will be great for my boy.<br /><br />I think that is a very good reason to party. :)<br /><br /><!-- start InLinkz script --> <script type="text/javascript">document.write('<script type="text/javascript" src=http://www.inlinkz.com/cs.php?id=309037&' + new Date().getTime() + '"><\/script>'); </script> <!-- end InLinkz script -->

An Antique & Flea Market Trip with Me

I would bet it came from a very wealthy family from that time period.<br /><br /><div class="separator" style="clear: both;"><a href="https://lh5.googleusercontent.com/-sUmOjsD89lg/UfmlDkWJR4I/AAAAAAAADwk/Jb_VQl-Gsy4/s640/blogger-image-1490516708.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="640" src="https://lh5.googleusercontent.com/-sUmOjsD89lg/UfmlDkWJR4I/AAAAAAAADwk/Jb_VQl-Gsy4/s640/blogger-image-1490516708.jpg" width="478" /></a></div><div class="separator" style="clear: both;">These lovely rollback Parsons chairs were only $35 a piece!  What a score for someone.  The pretty barstools behind them were only $250 for the set.  Ballard's has similar for the same price for one!</div><br /><div class="separator" style="clear: both;"><a href="https://lh3.googleusercontent.com/-IdgOh9zXmjA/Ufmk8GaRBII/AAAAAAAADwU/alCzQ1e-CIE/s640/blogger-image--112885301.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="640" src="https://lh3.googleusercontent.com/-IdgOh9zXmjA/Ufmk8GaRBII/AAAAAAAADwU/alCzQ1e-CIE/s640/blogger-image--112885301.jpg" width="478" /></a></div><div class="separator" style="clear: both;">The market always has lots of everything.  Even junk.  Lots of junk.  However, one of the vendor's had toys from when Mr. Chic and I were little kids.  We both got a kick out of seeing the toys of our childhood.  This building is a Sesame Street Mr. Hooper's Store.  I played with one of these for hours on end with my Fisher Price Little People, I remember the Little People house you can barely see in the pic above too.  My pre-school had it.  I had forgotten completely about it until I spotted it here.  A fun little memory at the market. :)</div><div class="separator" style="clear: both;"><br /></div><div class="separator" style="clear: both;">I hope you enjoyed this little trip to the market with me.  Next time I'll be back with more pics.  Unless you tell me this is the boring-est post you ever read and please don't do another one like it.  Then, I won't.</div>

Hi there! <br /><br />Whazzzup?!?<br /><br />I am feeling pretty happy because the lovely and super-talented <a href="http://emilyaclark.blogspot.com/2013/08/a-round-up-of-great-kids-spaces.html" target="_blank">Emily A.
